A tree.

A tree sketch I've been working on while riding caltrain too and from work. Might put it in photoshop to color it up and add some background :D

Not quite sure how this blog works yet, I don't know if we're supposed to stick with themed drawings, or post whatever we're working on at the moment.

I haven't figured out what the other people on the platform will look like. I was thinking of something on the simpler side like people in drab raincoats so they don't add too much noise to the background.

I could use some help/ideas to make the train look like it's quickly moving away without blur

I want to encourage everyone to give me some feedback!

ROADBLOCK

my version of Roadblock.. wanted to make him cater to the story of how he dreams to be a chef but also is giant guy who is able to carry a .50 Browning. So instead of him having a crazy badass pose, I chose for him to have leave his gun on the floor and pay more attention to the taste of the peppers. I hope the tat on his arm is readable also. But yeh.. let me know whats up ;D

Roadblock by Allison

Hey - here's my submission for "Roadblock". Had a whole lot of nothing going on this weekend, so I guess I'm the first to post. Also uploaded the process - in case anyone's curious. Looking forward to everyone's thoughts and feedback! I tried not to make him cute or funny which was a tad out of my comfort zone, but I'm happy with the outcome. Oh - and apparently I really suck at guns. =P
